Effective DIY Moisturizing Facial Mask

The holidays are coming to an end and many of us ate too much, partied a lot, and didn't work out enough. After all of the late-night parties, stress that surrounds the holidays and dehydration brought on by salty foods or alcohol intake, one of the homemade facial treatments might be just what the doctor ordered to refresh and moisturize your skin.
You need:
½ of a cucumber,
`1/4 orange,
1 tsp.  plain yogurt.

1.       Peel the cucumber.
2.        Puree cucumber in a blender or just grate it.

3.        Combine 1 teaspoon plain yogurt, 2 teaspoons orange juice and 2-3 teaspoons cucumber puree in a mixing bowl. Stir the mixture until it thickens.

4.        Wash your face and neck with mild cleanser and pat your skin dry, leaving just a little bit of moisture on your skin.
5.        Apply the mask over your face and neck evenly, avoiding your eyes, nostrils and mouth. Allow the mixture to sit on your skin for 20 minutes.
6.        Rinse the mask off with warm water, dry your face gently and apply a thin layer of moisturizer to boost this mask's hydrating benefits.

The cucumber pulp will help hydrate your skin and the vitamin C in the orange juice can help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

You can freeze leftovers of cucumber puree (or squeeze it and freeze only juice) in ice cube tray.
The use of such ice cubes gives much better result washing the face in the morning. This pleasant procedure rejuvenates the skin; tightens pores, and moisturizes your skin.
