Activated charcoal is produced by heating wood (or another high-carbon
product) to high temperatures, and then oxidizing it. The fine particles
that remain are almost pure carbon, and the resulting structure has an
enormous surface area. The preparation process gives the charcoal the
ability to absorb various chemicals to its surface. This is why you’ll
see charcoal as a routine ingredient as a filtering agent in commercial
and household use, ranging from gas masks to water filters.
But activated charcoal also works well to deeply cleanse, exfoliate, and detoxify skin! It draws impurities and toxins from within your pores with its powerful
absorption properties, giving an amazing deep clean.
This soap is good for oily, combination, and blemish-prone skin types. But even you have a dry skin you can use this soap occasionally (once per week) for deep cleansing procedure. Grape seed oil and shea butter in it will smoothen your skin and protect it from drying.
Ingredients: Saponified oils - olive, sustainable palm, coconut, castor,
grape seed, shea butter; organic activated charcoal, lactic acid,
fragrance (phthalate free).
What about fragrance? This soap scented with a luxury Spa delicate fragrance. It is complex aroma of tart Japanese grapefruit, Fresh Osmanthus (Sweet
Olive), and dew-covered watercress; followed by middle notes of rose,
jasmine, and cassis and sits on a dry down of fresh amber and myrrh.
