Konjac sponge - Asian secrets for skin cleaning.

There's a new tool for washing your face. It is a Konjac Sponge, one of the more recent product, imported from Asian beauty.
Konjac sponges come in different sizes, shapes, and types.


What is Konjac?
The Konjac Potato or Konnyaku is a perennial plant native to Asia, and can be found growing wild at very high altitudes. A totally natural food source, Konjac is 97% water, rich in mineral goodness and low in calories. Naturally alkaline, Konjac is pH neutral which leaves skin perfectly balanced. First discovered in the Indochinese region, Konnyaku has been used in Korea, Japan and China for over 1,500 as medicine, food, a dieting aid and as a beauty product.

How do I use the Konjac Sponge?
Konjac sponges are hard when they are dry, so you must wait until it softens so you will need to wet it under warm water until fully softened and expanded. 
Squeeze out any excess water, and gently massage your face with the sponge in circular motion. Please avoid harsh rubbing on acne area and around eye area. 
Do I need to use a cleanser with a Konjac sponge?
You can combine it with your favorite cleanser to make the sponge even softer and to create a rich lather for an incredibly therapeutic experience. Or you can use Konjac sponge after your facial cleanser to remove all leftovers of cleanser and to polish gently your skin.
 After-usage care:
Rinse the sponge with clean water. Using clean hands, press the sponge gently in between palms to drain water out. DO NOT twist, stretch or press the sponge too hard as it may damage the sponge.Hang or place the sponge in a well-ventilated area to dry it. Alternatively, keep the sponge in a container and store it in a refrigerator.
Replace sponge every 4-6 weeks for the best cleansing experience.
